I hear you Tank. I am heading back to my box tomorrow again. I can hardly wait to see what kind of pre plan gets sent to me. I swear I have a restriction on me that says "This Driver is not allowed to go West Of Mississippi and must stay north of I-40". Of course the last 2 times out they must have moved the line up to 70. The other Driver in my rotation has the same problem except her box is the Northeast.

Sitting right in the middle of "My Box". LOL Just south of Kansas City. Picking up a load tomorrow morning going to Joliet, IL. The Home Depot. That place has no parking, so I hope they have something lined up for me when I drop there.

Speaking of Boxes, I seem to run North and South in the Midwest, with a quick run to the house in Denver and out again. Then it's back to the North/South deal. I don't go East of Indianapolis or West of Omaha, unless I'm going home. Guess the planners have us in certain lanes and just keep us there.

I just have to say one thing.

We live in a world of people doing what they want, if someone doesn't want to do anything, do they do nothing and still get what they want? Or is that they don't do anything thus deriving them of the ability to get up and do what they want?

Did they name oranges before carrots? How did peas get their name? I love peas, its the only food you can have as a side of a meal, throw a couple at people and still have plenty to eat. You can't do that with a baked potato. You throw a baked potato at someone then there goes 1/3 of your meal. Plus, people are gonna know it was you. With peas you can have a side and still get 300-400 of them in a scoop. I suppose you could eat just peas, what's for dinner? Three cans of peas. What's with "fancy" peas. Are they more green? What's so fancy about them? Have you seen "Extra Fancy" peas? What are they, more green then the more green peas? Canned peas never look as fresh as frozen peas. Is it wrong to eat peas frozen? I suppose I should cook them, don't wanna chip a tooth.

Yeah, channel 400 on satellite radio, 24/7 George Carlin. I love that channel. That man was a genius.

Maybe.....but dam I sure get tired of seeing 39, 41, 90, 94 and of course all those lovely back roads in WI. I was running them so much at one point I was tempted to see if I could park at Wisconsin Dells and enjoy the day at the park rather than delivering a load. Lol!

I don't have a "box" per se, but I sure as hell get too much sitting time. Oh, I signed up to pull FLATBED trailers not curtainside trailers. When I call and tell you don't put me on something that costs me money, I don't care if its a dollar, don't tell me I HAVE to do it once in a while. I don't HAVE to work for Roehl.
Then to make me even more mad, the local driver loads two coils in the center of the trailer. UHM, you shouldn't do that with a curtain. It isn't made for that.
Wonder how long I sit tomorrow at the mother ship waiting for a load home to cool off!

    I hear that!

Curtainside = same work as flatbed but with crappy trailers and less pay

Id rather take a van over a curtain. If I'm going to make less money I might as well do less work.

I used to run the midwest alot a couple months back. But now been running east coast and the southeast I which I dont mind at all. Its been a month or so since Ive been to WI, OH, or IN even. For me the lanes I run varies, I'll run the midwest for a while, then get stuck in east coast lanes. Lately alot of load to LA, GA, and FL just back n forth. Theyll probably wait til the weather gets horrible to send me up that way
