Got a call from Kim my recruiter today informing me that my application for Roehl training had been approved. This is going to be a huge change for me and my wife. I'm currently a Paramedic in Fl and I needed a change. I hope this was the right move. I'm looking to start up in Wisconsin in November. Coming from Fl. I drove for Covenant for a little while in 2005 but since that time I have been a medic. Please send me your personal observations about the company. I have heard about a shortage in driver trainers. Anyone have issues. Looking forward to learning all I can from the drivers on here especially the Roehl drivers. I look forward to speaking and meeting you all in the future. Safe travels. Andrew

What's rdtc training? The reason I asked is thet I called Roehl today, and even though I have had my CDL for over 25 years, have a current health card, and a spotless driving record, the guy I spoke with told me that due to the fact that I haven't driven a tractor/trailer since '95, I'd have to go through the complete CDL school. And obligate myself to the $3000.00 cost for the school. I asked about a refresher course, and was told rather curtly, that after 17 years, it would be the CDL school, complete with tuition, period.Last edited: Sep 28, 2012
