ok, ok last one....here is one of me with our fed ex truck and SHORT hair...

look at the door on the box....HOW DO YOU DO THAT...( was like that on the other one on the other side too....truck also had a wood steering wheel that someone had put a spinner on and MESSED it up.....

 

That "effect" is done with a "metal break." (It is a device into which metal is clamped and then bent at the desired angle.) Its primary purpose is to provide support and stiffness. It allows the fabricator to use a thinner gauge metal. We used to make all of our caps for roofs where air conditioning ducts were removed that way. Without that feature, those doors probably would have flexed badly at highway speeds and provided you with some interesting (and probably unwanted) sound effects.

 

Winter look... beard is coming back, with great and loud protest from the other half.
