Need some input about east Texas roads.

yes i have been under it too. but they dont want you too. if you miss the signs out of jasper you come up on it fast. 70mph and right around a corner. my trailer was ten foot under the bridge before it came to a smoking stand still.

 

There is also a low overpass on us 171 northbound in Leesville. 13'6" with a downhill into it and an uphill out of it.

I grew up in Leesville and used to enjoy watching the cleanup when a log truck or chip truck was a little high.

The low clearance bridge out of Jasper is on US 63 going to Leesville, 12' 3". If you go thru Jasper make sure to take 190 to DeRidder then go north.

My sister was an MP and used to escort convoys from Ft. Hood to Polk. The route she recommended to me was go over to I 45, down to Huntsville, the 190 thru DeRidder, then north on 171.
