You know I have listened to this crap on lessors for months. to be frank over 20 drivers quit out of Dover last month for not getting miles. only 25% of lessors drivers get miles out of Dover, period. Those are the guys that are favored. I have been here and i may make close to 50,000 a year but the miles are shrinking. No one cares if you quit or stay. benefits are the worst in the industry. Dover has a 75% drop out rate. That is not to blame on the drivers. Some are bad some are good but lessors in Florida is not top notch. Eagan is but not Dover. Talk to Eagan they hate Dover, Talk to Dover they hate Eagan. The truth is Eagan is a lot smarter then Dover and it shows. Part of the problem is that Florida has lost their hold on some companies so getting good runs out of here is hit or miss. 4000 miles a week legal i highly doubt it. I always look when I go home and a lot of companies are the same. Yes, I stay not because the company is great but because I get a pay check every week and it feeds my family. This blog is full of a bunch of crap and any one that thinks it is not, should just stop a driver of lessors and talk with them. You will get a better understanding. The caption under Joseph truck says it all, for a man liking others to suffer. Really drivers, do your home work before you jump from one company to another. It does not only hurt your DAC, it also shows your not really seeing the company or being prepared for the bad times. There is bad in every company with lessors no exception. But Dover needs a swift kick in the butt in order for it to keep drivers and Eagan knows this. There are changes coming very soon because of the high turn over rate in Dover. Yes, change is coming. Prof., Drivers do your home work, Do your home work.

    insurance has a 4000.00 deductable
average driver gets 32 to 34 cents per mile
average run is 1700 to 2500 miles per week, with some getting 3000. Never have I got more then 3300 and I have been here and I run.
new trucks and trailers all the time.
you will lose 100 miles or more a week on those pc miles they do not pay for.
you will not always get detention time and will sit at some customers for 8 hours or more with nothing to show for it.
the more you go to Florida the worst your pay check will be since the shorter the runs SO ADD IT UP DRIVERS AND THIS IS FOR REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do some get miles and some don't? Ask yourself that. There's plenty of drivers here who do fine. Some of them won't be happy anywhere. If you're not running the way you need, say something. If you're not, people think you're happy running the miles you are. Quite a concept, I know. And if you don't like it, why do you stay if it's the worst job ever???? Hell I'd leave if it was that bad.

Joseph, not everyone is happy here. I am glad u are .everyone has an opion.lessors has cut back on miles and I run my ### off. Ihave not got my miles either.i see u seem to be the only one. What martin farms has said is true.every trucking company is the same in one way or another.i do not hide who I am my name is here.lessors has been good to me but the miles are not the same any more. One week 1500 the next 2200 and so on. Some weeks I do great other weeks It blows and I wo cant help there drives because there isnder why I am in this truck. It is what it is, so here I stay. It is great for some and not so great for others no matter how. Hard u work here. Some are lazy, yea but there are guys that never miss an appointment, drive hard and get the short end. I wont mention names but a manager told me there is a click here and if ur not in it. Then your not gonna get the miles. I am a driver and not a very good ### kisser or into clicks.i do what I am asked to do and do it the best I can. Thats all I can do

I said in the original post it's not the perfect company. Not even close. Is there stuff I would like to see change? YES. Some of the things are incredulous. They are. I'll admit that. But if you're willing to work, they'll work with you. And get on their butt when they don't. I've had a few less than pleasant expierences with Dover and some of the backwards rednecks that work down there. But with the new dispatch, for the most part, unless you were unfortunate to get one of the Florida people as a dispatcher, you don't have to deal with them. Mike is the worst down there. I've never seen someone lie so much and be that bad at it. You gotta put your foot down and demand more miles out of them. If you don't then it doesn't matter. If you don't say anything, they think you're happy with what you're getting.

Thats my point I am out of florida snd have the worst dispatcher there, james.i love eagan but thet will not give me another one. Its a big click in dover. I like bruce, brian, steve and everyone there, got along real well with cindy and I got cal once and a while.she new I was a runner. I have a frig, micro in truck so I nver stop long but since this new dispatch we do not get good runs any more. We get stuck with the crap . Every time I go to eagan I complain but I get nowere.we have drivers quiting left and right. I feel for martin farms cause if ur not in the florida click your not getting miles. They need to clean house thete those people were their when james bought it.they will never change.i do not have a comput, I have to use my phone so excuse the spelling. Any way until james or brian put there foot down, more good drivers will quit. This new system will not help a lot of the florida drivers, period. I use to get my miles every month, not any more.. I canbitch all I want but it falls on deaf ears

I don't pretend that Lessors is the creme de la creme. But they've been fair and I've always gotten paid on time in full. I've always driven safe new equipment. I would like to think I have a good rapport with the people in Eagan. I've made good money here also. I also will go above and beyond when I can, not just for them but for me. I take a lot of pride in what I do. That said, yeah, there are things that could be better. But I've been here since 2007 for a reason. They have been more than fair. To quite a few drivers who should've been let go. No. It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination and the company atmosphere has certainly changed since I started. But the company hasn't cut pay, they haven't treated the drivers like second class human beings and you can walk right up to James, Wendy or Brian and voice your concerns and they'll actually take the time to listen. That doesn't happen much anymore in this business. Whether I stay or leave Lessors, I won't have anything bad to say about the people in Eagan or Cindy.
