Another view that I enjoy quite a bit is from the top of Flat Top on the WV Turnpike. Especially during the winter right around sunset.
Where is the View that still impresses you?

I've lived in New Orleans and surrounding areas all of my life and still to this day, I-10 between mm 211 and 219 during sunset over the marshy areas always makes me smile. It's beautiful. Although I do love Montana mountains too. Don't remember where they were exactly, somewhere around Butte.

What a great thread. When I was trying to make my decision on my career change, the friend I was talking to about the pros and cons sealed the deal for me when he talked about how inspiring seeing the country is at different times of day, especially the sunrises and sunsets. I've been in 46 of the 48 states in a car and have seen many of the spots that others have described. I'm really looking forward to seeing them in a truck.
The one area that hasn't been mentioned is the area around Nelson, BC, especially heading north.Wooly Rhino Thanks this. -

That little 2 or 3 mile section of I-10 east of Phoenix, the rocks there are absolutely incredible. I got to take my dad through that area when we went to Wrestlemania a few years ago.
Probably one of the most incredible sites, headed west of of SLC on the salt flats, it was a winter night, clear, full moon. You could see everything and the water along the road was absolutely still and almost looked like glass. I wish I could of gotten a picture of it. Of all the years on the raod, it's one that will always stand out in my mind.Wooly Rhino Thanks this. -

I've seen, I think, probably 90% of what has been mentioned, and agree that they are beautiful. But I-70 between Green River UT and Richfield UT remains my favorite. 'Tis a beautiful country, for sure.

Snowqualmie pass in WA (I90)
MT 200 Missoula to Great Falls (could see the fish in the river from the highway... next time, I'm gonna have a flat!!)
Wyoming rest areas at night... no lights, lots of stars.
Funny side story... stopped in a tiny rest area in OR near Brothers for a 10... was woke up by a buck rubbing his antlers on my trailer.
