Hello. My name is Mary. I'm 22 yrs old. My husband and I are considering becoming team truck drivers. Just joined the forum to gather information as to which company is the best to train with.

    Thanks.

Welcome to the forums, Mary. Trucking is a great career choice for you and your husband. As young as you are, there's no reason that a team that takes care of business and manages their money can't retire as fairly young millionaires. Good luck!

Don't train with a carrier for your CDL training . Training requires a year employment obligation . A high percentage of trainees fail to meet the obligation and end up being billed thousands for the training and get no certificate for another carrier to recognize .
FedEx Custom Critical will put graduates of an approved school in a truck starting at full pay without a trainer . Check this link for info on expediting .http://www.successfulexpediters.com/madsen/madsen_home_page.htm
Being in Texas you might also see if there are opportunities to buy a 1 ton truck and lease on with a hotshot company .
