Your 42 and never, ever had a physical??? Let me tell ya' something.. When I was that age, I had a colonoscopy that revealed polyps. According to the surgeon, it was very large, and had I waited or not had a physical to start with, it would have been cancerous. I don't like doctors or hospitals, but I prefer them over a mortician and funeral home.

 

I have mine done at NovaCare... no-one does anything funky or weird. Pee in a cup, blood drawn and maybe a ROM (Range of Motion) exam. When I did it for Waste Management, they actually wanted you to be able to do a deep knee bend with each leg... that was the hardest part of the physical.

Once had a "short arm inspection" when I was in the military... performed by a short, pale, red haired lady... (my personal weakness).. boy was she glaring at me... lol

 

My last company had a woman doctor that did the DOT physicals. About an hour before the physical, the drivers would take a 100mg. Viagra. No one ever failed; but a few showed borderline high blood pressure.
