Georgia permite state SPECIFICLY on the bottom "Must be signed in blue ink". Alabama must in red and Washington state is "Any color EXCEPT black".

there needs to be a same state law. cuz it's just ridiculous how every state has different regs regarding oversized.

how is passing a scale considered a moving violation? other then the fact he's rolling down the highway. LOL.

i passed a scale once. it was in a construction zone. the ramps were mostly closed down cept for one specially created for the port. with the other signs surrounding it at that time. i didn't see it till it was too late to slow down for the ramp. luckily i was empty. but just kept on rolling into the next state.

i figured the scale was temporarily closed becuase of the construction. like the other one at the other end of the state. but apparently that construction is for the scale and not the road. sure taking there sweet time on that scale.

If I'm not mistaken, a ticket for passing an open scale in GA carries a license suspension of up to 90 days if convicted.

Agree, not only could the judge order the driver for a medical review he could also disqualify the driver.
