I am glad you liked it and lived to tell us about it. I am not very adventurous with foods. I guess having grown up in Southern Germany even a hamburger was a stretch :biggrin_255:

Had leaks in the trailer fixed and heading to KS in the morning....May get one more short trip in before we leave for CA on friday morning.

On a completely different note, we are parked beside the Waffle House in Springfield MO and after dinner I was walking back to the truck and looked up to see a totally nude Swift guy standing in his truck with all the lights on, did I mention he was at least 450lbs I still feel ill!

bobtailed back to yard. picked up 1 1/2 gallons of oil.

i'm thinking one of the injectors or line brokie. putting fuel into the engine instead of the cylinder. which is why it's dead.

but i can't figure out why it started smoking though. gonna have the valve cover pulled and see what things look like. hopefuill;y it's a simple fuel leak fix. and an overhead can be done. and engine back to running on all 6 again. WITHOUT smoke.

in the mean time. i've got a loaner truck. as soon as the company can get some steer tires on. with any luck i'll make one trip to cali this week.

thank goodness my truck has a sleeper furnace. so i can have heat and sleep in my own truck tonight. since the engine can't run.
