Swift wants the bonus for hiring veterans . These carriers and CDL mills don't care who they exploit and put further in debt . Bonuses for hiring veterans should be paid in 4 quarterly payments with proof the veteran is still working there required to be provided each quarter .

don,t know what these companies get from the gov. for newhires or veterans but i think its a scam these companies due.newhires quit and have to pay back loan and companies still get the full bonus? no wonder turnover so high

Swift thinks it's better to hire veterans who are going to follow orders and be more disciplined than the average joe, veterans have a tendency to tolerate more bs without complaining.

At least with most of the veterans they won't have to go into debt since the military does train a lot of truck drivers but I sure wouldn't get out before my 20 was up to drive for swift or any otr company.
