Thanks Karhaulr, lol, I found this device online. It improves circulation and avoids blood from pooling like you said. I am thinking about buying it to give it a try. The price is steep tho. But might be a good investment. http://venowave.com/dvt-prevention.php
What do you think? -
Basically when I get my load assignment I will make a plan that includes however many stops I have time for. -

Rob G, I would think that if you are young, and some what healthy, and don't smoke, then just stopping would be fine for your situation.
If you are really concerned with DVT, I would have to agree with the old fart and say talk to your doctor.
Theres a doctor you can ask on here too.

Thanks Karhaulr! I will ask the doctor. I am concern about DVT bacause I know even 18 yr old healthy people have died from this (long flight). But then again I might just be obsessing.
Thank you tho -
Rob.G, you can see your doc and get an Rx for compression hose. Don't sweat the "hose" part. They are actually a strong elastic sock that helps keep the blood from pooling in your legs. (They sell them at Walmart, but they're not very durable) Also, get out and walk around periodically. You can also flex your leg muscles while driving, it helps keep the blood flowing. You can also research the risk factors for DVTs and see which ones may apply to you.
