Did you change DM's to get problem of low miles resolved? The new DM's are slow to learn and can take time. Did you call the planners a day ahead o delivery to get your name in their head, to communicate your interest in a preplan? If you're sitting then you have plenty of time to call planners, dispatchers, DM's and whoever you have to in order to get moving. Squeeky wheels tend to get greased in order to quiet them. My DM knows that. Move me or I start calling/emailing up the chain until I'm taken care of.

I'm with ya on low miles. I'm getting low miles. Sitting a lot and getting nickel and dimmed on my pay. The hours I put in for the lousy pay ain't cutting it.

I gor hung out to dry on this load... got load assignment, tell them.I do not have the hours available to run this load... well repower oglr get appt changed... loaded and rolling at 8:30 for a delivery 700 miles away at 5am... we'll.change the appt time... did they? No. Oh and its a Walmart load... so I will be 4 - 5 hrs late... how long do you think I'll sit there?
Oh, and did I mention it is in Arkansas? What are the chances I get sent for a meat load next? Sat yestersay tp do a reset, will.sit for god knows how.long at Walmart now, and who knows after that... not shaping up tp be a good week at all.
The seven P's come to mind... Piss Poor Planning Produces Piss Poor Performance...
This load was a planned service failure
.Corporal_Clegg and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
those were set up by my dm who was not a new one. i talked to planners and was not able to get repowered off of many loads and if it happened it was done thru emul. these were all meat related problems. never had any issues while running produce. came off of home time picked up in edwardsville ill was giving 5 days to move 900 miles. one 34 in sioux city trying to get off the load. made it to rapid city in one day turned around and made it back to sioux city just to take another 34 waiting on tyson.so 2 34s in one trip that was it for me im gone and hopefully on to better things.

After you receive your CDL you can start with Stevens right away ( of course you have to apply and wait a couples of days to set all the paper work with the recruiter and then you will start with Stevens right away) -

So... arive at Walmart, after being assured three different times yesterday the appt was being changed... Walmart knows nothing about it other than it was scheduled at 5am and it has been cancelled... so now I sit while Stevens tries to do what the should have done yesterday...
I realize none of us are perfect and things fall through the cracks but I let them know prior to aclnowledging the load assignment I could not deliver on time, i checked three different times yesterday, sent a macro 8 when I parked last night and still nothing was done? That borders on incompetence.TRKRSHONEY and Corporal_Clegg Thank this. -

Got a preplan... Meat load... Who saw that one coming? Maybe I can salvage the week... it's 1400 miles... I just wonder how many stops they are going to lay on it.
