He knows because he's supposed to bring me a hat, we're going to trade company swag. Problem is I don't go to the office anymore and the town I live in doesn't really have, you know stuff. We've got a wal mart and a piggly wiggly! It's pretty awesome.

Cause I know who Mel works for and I aint sayin who...but we do wash there occasionally....and we also test products for them from time to time.....(I think the Van Wyks might have some fingers in Mels Company in the backround somewhere...but not too sure)......but yes they do pay better than Roehl on the Lease side....buuuuuuutttttttt it does have some issues...and Meltom has been working them out.....

We may not be connected, but then again we might. I'm stunned how open my company is, and for that matter how open most companies are. It's not like life at the Marsh, these other companies aren't your enemy. We meet with a number of companies on a regular basis and compare best practices and ideas. It's very interesting. Coolest guy I met was the VP at GSTC, he did a presentation at this safety seminar. We exchanged info and he had a conference call about ideas on how to get on the right track. Very cool. I find it funny that guys that I've never met before are totally open with what they do, but guys I've worked with before are very closed to the exchange for information. It's not like I couldn't get a DRG if I wanted one, my goodness there are literally thousands of them floating around out there.

Well I do know we have tested some systems for your company....(cat eyes...and crossfires...) Plus I guess one of Van Wyks other companies Manufactures the Cat Eyes (Or so I was told by the Maint. Chief)..... and yeah it is kinda amazing how the other companies tend to play nice with each other in this neck of the woods.....they like to share.....
Meltom Thanks this. -
Broke down on US 30 in Ohio. Wave if you pass me. I'm in a burgundy Volvo.

Just crossed into north Dakota on 94. No truck stops before my 11 runs out so I'm grabbing a shower at this flying j at exit 1. Then gotta get 4 more hours down the road. Cut it close last night, had 2 minutes on my 11 when pulling into the pilot I stayed at.
Also, I don't have any shampoo, so I gotta use that cheap junk in the showers. This flying j didn't have any shampoo for sale, they were all out :/
Also, Treefork, that sucks.

I think this has a lot to do with companies being based in Iowa. Iowans as a whole are very helpful people on almost every front. I've been trying to talk the spouse into moving out there but so far its been no sale. My oldest sister has lived in Cedar Rapids for 16 years and she raves on and on about how nice people are in Iowa.

We're in IL, transplants from NE. We just skipped over IA all together. But it is a nice state (not as nice as WI)
