n1xrf Thanks this. -
So far the baby is doing ok. Just gotta baby her. Doing ok fuel wise too. 7.8 average as long as I've had it, and that's without trying for good mileage.

-
Welcome, and to answer you holiday question, It depends on when your trainer goes home. As far as advice, Keep your chin up for the training period, 40k miles and soon enough you will have your own truck, Good luck to you

how are there trucks? and how many miles would i get weelky? im kinda scared cause of the whole cpm pay. i guess im use to working by the hour lol
-
The trucks are brand new to about 3-years old; they get sold or cycled back to the manufacturers at that point. While the driver has a lot to do with keeping the maintenance up, Prime will make sure that anything that needs attention is looked at. That doesn't mean that there aren't breakdowns, but we don't leave you sitting by the side of the road.
Miles... it's going to vary, and you should understand that. Average miles quoted recently are in the 2,400 to 2,800 region. I was doing 2800 average a week a couple of years ago on the company side - it can vary from 1500 to well over 3000. You also need to understand that there is a cycle to freight every year, and not every year is the same; the key to surviving it is having money in the bank to help even out the ups and downs.
