It was from when I first got my permit and before I started trucking school. I don't know why the trucking school made me get a medical card. I mean, I needed the med card to get the license.

honestly ud be better of at a different company anyways. You can get a new dot card at a chiropractor for about $30

Really? They won't think it's weird that my med card hasn't expired yet or anything?

Is there any reason you recommend a chiropractor? They would seem less intimidating but I never been to one. All my luck they'll say my spine is all messed up! lol

They dont have to know about your current one. Because they do only the basics required for a dot physical. Simple easy in and easy out in about 6min

hmm... That would erase the murmur off my old one, unless of course the new doctor recognizes it too? I think I was just dang nervous that day. I couldn't calm down. :biggrin_25511:

They wouldn't even allow students into the school I went to without a DOT physical, medical card & drug test.

You need the medical card to get the permit. Most schools now require, for their insurance, that all students that use their trucks have at least a permit.

Some of the big companies are real stupid about things. Covenant sucks anyway. I would find another company. And try in the future to get your physical somewhere where they are not so thorough. Chiropractor, CVS Minute Clinic, etc.

    DedicatedDriver Thanks this.
