So, at what point do you start taking self responsibility??? If your trainer is not, was not or would not train you, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that you get placed with one who will, yes Central has bad trainers, as does EVERY company on the road, but every company and central also have good trainers along too, so you ultimately sacrificed your training knowledge, AND self comfort, for the possible ability to make money quickly???? sorry to tell you, my personal opinion with that mind set you dont belong behind the wheel of an 80,000 lbs. vehicle, trucking is not an internship, much of the things you go through it is on you to ensure it goes smoothly, there are no company representatives in that truck with you and your trainer, so unless you open your mouth and say something, they assume everything is ok, but according to you, you signed off on getting properly trained, so who's fault is that??? On to your leasing experience, its not a company drivers job to "babysit" a load, they get paid to move freight just like you do, just because you lease a truck does not mean that company drivers are now your pawns, you knew before you mac 11'ed (accepted) that load where and when it picked up, how much time u needed to run, and where and when it delivered, YOU decided to accept the load so YOU are responsible for it! the new scale isnt all that bad, as long as you manage your business, and judging by the factors i mention above, you dont know how to properly communicate so i can guess you didnt, its ok, fact is most people who fail in a lease, whether with central or elsewhere, arent even aware of how or when they messed up, so its the big bad companies fault, i can tell you personally through having good communication with DM's that 1) most of the time you have to earn their trust, and 2) the obvious lack of communication will not get you the long haul miles. BOTTOMLINE before you go pointing the finger at anyone/anything YOU FIRST NEED TO EXAMINE YOURSELF, and yes i leased with central if that wasnt obvious from the jump, 2 yrs and i only had 2 negative checks, NEVER more than $100 and yes i went home at regular intervals and have a wife and 2 kids i support on my own, so dont think money cant be made there, the only catch is, its on you, how you conduct yourself, how you communicate, and how you execute, good day

As a company driver, I'd be asking for a new DM if I found out I had to sit on someone else's load overnight because the L/O couldn't do their own planning. Some of us "company" drivers have families to feed as well. Don't even know what good it's gonna do talking at someone who teamed with a person they didn't like or respect in the first place... You're obviously here for easy money and you're not gonna find it anywhere in this industry. Good luck anyway. You're gonna need it
