Got it. That sucks :/
Thanks for clearing that up. I never saw a sign of what it was. Just know it was a pretty awesome ride

Whats a baby 8? Oh and I got my 2 year DOT physical today!!! Thank god. I was sweating it. Of course I am still fat as every doctor says. I must be at constant risk of death everytime I eat something. LOL!
skyviper73 Thanks this. -
A baby 8, from what I can see (never drove one) the sleeper is extremely small.

Hey Everyone, Just checking in to let yall know,I've finished my third week out with my trainer, driving all over Fl. taking tons of stuff to Home Depots and hauling lots of product back to the distribution center in Lake Park, GA. I wish I could keep up with this forum during the week, so I could talk to everyone more......I guess I'm going to spend a little money to use the WiFi at the TA, because there are times when I have question that I know you guys/gals could help me with because sometimes my trainer can be hard to see eye to eye with, its not any personal issues,I think its more of he wanting me to do my 45 back shooting from the hip, rather than showing/telling me what I should be seeing or looking for, then he'll get up-tite with me when I jack the trailer to far or don't get back out in front of the trailer fast enough, so this weekend I'll be trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong,vs what I'm doing right, so I can do better next week.....so it's time for me to studying

You could always have your trainer jump out of the truck and guide you. If he still wants to be a dick then run him over. Glad to hear things are progressing. Stay safe out there. Everytime I see a Werner truck on I4 I am wondering if it is you LOL!- Drew

Well.............The thought has crossed my mind for a second or too. and thanks for the vote of confidence on the task of backing.....like I was telling my trainer, at my CDL school we never worked on a 45 degree back, just the straight/offset/and parallel and alley dock maybe 2 times, I guess I'm doing OK on the 45 but some times I feel like I'm needing to see particular trailer movement or angles in the mirrors that I don't see or don't know where to look for them.....like I said I'm just going to hve to study up on it, maybe watch some backing on YouTube......ans as far as it being me on I 4......The truck in the signature below is just like the 2012 Freightliner Cascadia that I'm training in, so you never know, it might be me.....I always wave at all the Roehl trucks I see.

Dont worry about backing, soon enough you will do it perfect one time and it will just click from there on. Glad your making some head way though!Pirate Trucker XOXX Thanks this.

your ####-for-brains trainer is supposed to be helping you learn how to do it, not criticizing you for needing help.
i've taken on a number of students who weren't getting what they needed from their trainer. some i polished for three or four days, some i took out for a 14-day re-work.
he's supposed to be teaching.Nottoway, DrtyDiesel, coopnp and 2 others Thank this.
