If all the trainers had this same attitude, we'd have better rookie drivers on the road today! Keep up the good work Whitey!

Picked up a trailer in Athens TN that dispatch said was supposed to be loaded with beer in Albany. Sounds like someone entered the wrong trailer in the computer at Miller.

Sitting in Dalton GA with no load available right now.

so far i am liking this regional thing. been a few new places which is nice. i also like doing more than one run per day. i am getting used to running later in the afternoon/evening so its trickier to find parking. i also liked marco a lot more than my new dispatch. this guy never talks to me. just load final and no load available.i almost ran out of fuel today. made it to a pilot and the pumps are shut down. so will have to get fuel in the AM. also had a crap time backing the other day and then i looked at my miles 666. so that explains that.

I sent Opie a message the other day telling him when they take me off his board I wanted to give regional a shot. He said he wasn't sure if there were any openings. Hopefully there will be. I really don't want to tackle those upper east coast winters yet until I get more experience. We will see what happens. On another note I woke up this morning to my truck being covered in snow. Leaving out of Denver heading to Eden NC in a few. Everyone be safe.

Must have been visiting the wonderful Coors Brewery in Golden, unless we take something else to Denver. Thats as far on 70 as we are suppose to go since we don't carry chains. I got lucky last winter wasn't bad only hit 2 snow storms. One on the IN toll road and the other on the NY Thruway east of Albany heading to the Mass. Pike. Slow way down and you are fine, if you aren't comfortable shut down until they clear it.

Im confused, your from IL, where will you run regional that will put you in less snow? OTR you have a good shot at running south, regional your guaranteed to stay in bad winter area.

Well I would run the Midwest region. Basically Wisconsin Indiana Ohio Illinois and Missouri for the most part. Sure they get snow but nothing like Pennsylvania, New York, Maine etc.
