im going for refrigerated trailers and i have my hazmat endorsement. is there a lot of loads for refer tailers
-
No, they don't come w/ CBs. Don't bring it with you, just have your FM route you thru the house ASAP when you upgrade to grab it. Reefer is their biggest division.
silenteagle Thanks this. -
having the hazmat endorsement has helped me get rolling several times. I got this weekend load from Buffalo NY to Kalispell MT of class 5.1. Great pay and I get to see some of the beautiful ranges

Can anyone tell me if prime does urine or hair drug testing. I'm not a drug user but have recently stop taking medicine that truckers cant be on. If they do hair test and find that, there might be a problem.
-
If it was prescription, and you can back it up, then there shouldn't be a problem.
silenteagle and DragonTamerBrat Thank this. -
Have fun and good luck. I just finished orientation there Thursday. Got my truck, and jow I'm in the yard there waiting on a load.
silenteagle Thanks this. -
It's only a problem if you can't show a prescription and the required number of days off of said medication. Per the last safety CD/podcast they are at least looking at hair testing. But currently, urine is what they use. (As of Sept. 1)

Maverick went to hair testing this year and Im told its super accurate back to a year or more but labs will only certify the last 90days.
