In-Cab 5th Wheel Release.... DANGEROUS?

    try releasing the tractor brakes 1st. but yur "no dummy" we know

    Well I am truely honestly a truck driver. Very much a true story... If you'll notice I didnt start it out with "DRIVER YOU AINT GONNA BELIEVE THIS"...

    Yeah when I go to pull that pin again I am gonna be "GUN SHY" but in time I will get over that.

    I feel your pain..... no really!
    I too had a shredded labrum.
    Recovery is a long road, and the pain never really goes away, just settles down.
    Best of luck on your recovery.

    didn't they teach u in rookie school to always use the pin puller never your hand?
    probly not- no excuse
    didn't notice in op u have 2 trailers, so u po roblyneed to gear down push switch with trailer brakes released, keep ur tractor hooked up, or more than ur shoulder will hurt. gl with your recovery

    YES I am truely and honestly a truck driver... This is a true story. I definitely have the scars, pain and photos of the surgery to prove it. If you'll notice I didnt start it out with "DRIVER YOU AINT GONNA BELIEVE THIS BUT...." LMAO.

    Yeah the next time I pull that pin I am definitely gonna be "GUN SHY" but I will get over that slowly but surely...

    Um read the post again and you will see that I backed into a hole next to another trailer being on the driver side hence 'being between 2 trailers". And I do believe I know how to hook and unhook from my trailer..... thanks anyway...

    Thank You.... Arthogram is set for this Tuesday. We will no more on wether or noth the therapist has screwed it even more.

    well, obviously udon't or u wouldn't be here asking us how to do it right.
    u didn't take the pressure off the king pin b4 u put ur gear down and jammed the lock.
    air rides are famous amos but you'd have b around more than month too know that.

    See like everyone else you read the first post and precieved it in your own way. I was not asking anyone how to do it it right. I was simply asking for a simple answer to a simple question. The landing gear was down, pressure was off of the 5th wheel and King Pin..... Please re read the post and it will make sense.
