Did you happen to buy the Black Brahma Steel Toes?
Quality boots if you did, mine at the 8 month mark. Paid around $45 -
I am Mr Mom this weekend. My wife is out of town tonight, so it is me and the two girls. Once I put them to bed, I will be cooking myself a nice dinner and enjoying a cold Shiner.
Logan76, volvodriver01 and SHC Thank this. -
actually no. my past pair were those but without the steel toe. got a year and a half.out of them for $35 but i wanted steel toe so last week i bought the same pair but in steel toe. got home and put them on only to find the stitching at the sole all pulling apart. took them back and the only other pair had the same thing so i just returned them.
i got the little bit more expensive hermans because its all they had in my size. i usually buy good boots but with having just outfitted my truck for flatbed work money is a bit tight.volvodriver01 Thanks this. -
I bought a pair of CAT boots 2 years ago, and they are still in perfect condition. Comfy as heck and my feet don't sweat even in 125* Phoenix heat. I got them at JC Penny's for $89. I also like the Timberland Pro's (I also have a pair of them) but they are around $175.
Just like having a good seat in the truck, and good pair of work boots is #2 on the list of important things when being a flatbedder. The van guys just keep buying mandals and slippers LOLvolvodriver01 and Logan76 Thank this. -
my last cat boots lasted real well untill i melted the soles off them
SHC and volvodriver01 Thank this. -
10-4 keep in mind hermans
ETA: Cats wasn't so good to me, neither was redwings. stupid lucky with these generic brahmas.
6'3 260 pounds Size 14 hard to find a boot wears well all year long walking in the landfills and the steel mills and general use..SHC Thanks this. -
You've got to make sure you get the one's with the iTechnology, the inside is like a pair of New Balance shoes!!
These are the one's I have, and infact I am going to order another pair now while they are still made LOL

You can get them on eBay for $59.99 plus shipping!!!volvodriver01 Thanks this. -
the hermans a ton more comfortable. those black brahmas have no padding in them. even the brown brahmas are more comfortable then them. i normally buy georga boy or rockies since i got company discounts on them for years.

thats a much lighter boot then the old style cats i.always bought. only thing i didnt like was their weight. i might look into a set of those, good price too
