I wish I would have thought of that. Their sleeping now lol. If their here in the morning I'll ask. I was talking to one of them and I may end up going over to ATS I'm the future. Possibly. Never heard anything bad about them from any of the drivers.

Back on topic though, I do have Indiana provisions. Only thing it says is I can't drive on a state highway between 9pm-7am because of construction.

Here is the long winded version for Kentucky, remember this. You hear banjos at the scales get those feet busy!

Here is a link for a heavy hauler company, they outline every state provisions for you. http://www.sammonstrucking.com/docs/PermitBook.pdf

One thing I will stress is read the permit, also no matter what if the coops are open go in and follow the lights have your permit handy and be confident.

I think you will do fine

Yeah I decided that prepass don't count for me. I'll go in the scale no matter what. Better safe than sorry.

Ok. Just keep a level head on your shoulders and I believe you will be golden..
Remember some states have funny running times. Like Ga. and MS. 1/2 hour after sunrise and 1/2 before sunset.
Ar. daylight hours only no half before or after.
If in doubt about making it to the next parking place. Shut down early.
Company tries to give you grief, tell them you did not think you could make it to the next place before shut down time..

    You are very welcome,

I do not know allot but can figure it out sometimes, always willing to help out as I can. Just the way I was brought up, crusty truckers help each other.

Yeah my dispatcher said there isn't really a delivery appt because of it being over size. Just told me to take my time and be patient. This is my load taking me toward the house. I turn 22 on the 13th so I'm trying to get home for that, I just know I won't rush this load. No need in messing anything up.

    Thanks!!

i always wondered about them super loads. you see them shut down for the night on wide spots in the road, dot lots, scales, rest areas, i have even seen them shut down right in the median between lanes if its paved. do they tell you where to stop when you get permits or do they just have to find a place? some of them lpads are BIG

Depends on the lds. Some states you can only run like 9am to 3 or 4pm.Can not exit off the rte. with super lds. Park in the places like you stated. Been there done that. Do not miss the headaches right now.
Happy running my little 7 axle stretch..
