I found out one thing works for me, get something I have never hauled and I ask the shipper, how do most people secure this or how do you want it tied down if it is not obvious.
Keeps me out of hot water.DrtyDiesel and CAXPT Thank this. -
a little trick I used to do when I let air out of tires was measure how much I needed to lower the unit.
Then put hardwood blocks under the axles so the pressure was riding on the blocks and not the tires.DrtyDiesel and aiwiron Thank this. -
Only problem I had was it was a preloaded trailer I picked up this morning. Already secured.
The guy who does these is a local driver. All he does 5 days a week is pickup those tractors and loads them, secures them, and leaves them for us to pickup at the loading site that roehl owns near the CAT place
Ethanaiwiron Thanks this. -
Ethan one day you could be a member of the Loyal Order of the Out house posse. 57,000 thousand pounds of the finest brick house you ever had the honor of dragging down the road.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
