thats what i dont understand but yet it sealed which does what besides say this load hasnt been tampered with(maybe) oh well

It takes a little longer to get through the lock... you'd think those frozen brains in the cab might actually notice somethin' going on! VERY SADLY, that doesn't always happen.
-
so how many miles did you log before you felt comfortable with it all? and how many were you required to log?
-
I cant speak for ORD but Ive been pulling flats for 17yrs and some loads still make me nervous. However it also makes me check and recheck to be sure I done it right and keep an eye on it while headed down the road. I felt comfortable the first day I was in my own pulling flats because the company I was with at the time had a very thorough week long class but like I said some loads will always make you a little nervous like greased pipe or bar, particle board or a tall load of pvc pipe. They arent dangerous if secured proper but they WILL move if you drive wrong even properly secured.
-
I still cant figure out where to put my locks....

Im with Dan... It took a couple months to get comfortable. Some loads will still keep you very alert at all times. As with anything else, its just experience -
