DLV in Eden tomorrow, coming down 35 in WV a cattle truck flipped itself before the porn shop on the 2 lane part of 35. Talk about an a55tastic detour. CR-73 to WV-2 to WV-193. CR-73 was no where near being designed for a truck.

well i may be late tomorrow to my truck. i have to take one of our dogs to the vet to be put down. If she doesnt go tonight by herself. This weekend has been crap. I got one hour of sleep last night due to me trying to do everything i could for this dog to make her comfortable. I think i will call in the morning to let them know i will be to my truck after the vet. Are breweries and distributors open on columbus day?

 

Sorry about your dog. I know it's pretty rough.

 

Boomer there are no 24 hour vets in my area. also none that are open on weekends. The nearest emergency vet is almost an hour away. My dog passed peacefully in her sleep last night around 10pm. now we are just waiting until the cemetery opens so we can take her and have her cremated.

Also columbus day is a national holiday. Government offices are closed and also schools. I am highly surprised the trash guys came because they usually use any excuse to not work. I know of a few businesses that are also closed today. Retail stores are open because they regard this day as another excuse to have a "sale".

I called dispatch and talked to wade since brad is off all week. he said whenever i am ready to go just hit ready for dispatch.

 

Very sorry about your dog!!!! My kids will want to move to Ohio they had school today.
