A.D. Transport Express

I was wondering about them myself. See a lot of their trucks on the road and look like decent equipment. Gonna keep searching to see if I can find anything on them.

 

Have been trying to get some info on them as well. I have talked with a couple of their drivers and only one complained but he was gripping about them running him to hard. Said they put in with covenants and those loads are scheduled as straight runs as if you have fresh hours. They are just now converting to e logs so that should take care of that. If you dont have the hours they just have to relay it. Its as simple as that. One driver i talked to has been with then 4 years and simply says " he ain't complainin and he ain't lookin"

 

I worked for them along time ago . They were doing alot of ford freight alot of just in time deliveries. I heard there more deversified with there freight now than before . I always said they needed more of a freight base instead of one main shipper. Other than that they where a good company. I quit because all the did was ford. Its like a football team all they do is run they become one deminsional.
I was making .38 mi back in 2002 but i was only getting 1800 a week . Hate motor freight

 

they come into the gm plant where i am currently switching at..equipment seems nice and drivers and usually in a good mood

 

Currently deal with AD now. Most of the time average 2800-3000 miles a week. Nice equipment and they update regularly . Top of the line insurance for detroit area. not so hot if your not in the area..If you cant make a run do to lack of hours they will do relays. They do there best to get you home on home time. One negative is if you have any damage to the equipment they do charge you for it. All in all they are one of the better companies to work for. As for e-logs they did start installing them and realized they werent working so good. Now its optional if you want them. One of the pluses is they do not want you running on bad roads and want you to shut down if needed.
