So while doing a pretrip this morning one of my snap binders was popped open. I believe someone opened it because the excess chain wasn't wrapped around it and the bungie holding the chain around it was missing. Either it popped open and broke the bungie, completely destroying it or someone stole my bungie and popped the binder open for some reason.

Anyway, on my way now, stopped at the rest area before Illinois on 80 and glad I did. One of my flags was on the verge of falling out. Fixed it and on my way

Did u check it last night when u arrived at your parking spot?? There is a good chance it just poped open on you. The force would easily fling the bungee

You better get off the computer and get to pre flight check in.
If flying out of O'Hare. The lines can be long on a Monday.. Hate to hear you missed your flight...

My guess is no. Someone would actually have to undo the bungee, unwrap the chain, unsnap the binder, and then steal the bungee.

    DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

One spot, in the back. Parked next to 3 other oversize trucks at the Iowa 80.

Today I didn't even park in a spot. Parked in the back of this flying j where I'm put of the way. I don't want anyone backing in next to me and hitting a tire on the tractor.

Got it delivered yesterday. My first oversize in the bag with no problems. The guy that unloaded it was pretty cool. Used to be a trucker back in the 80's. Sat there for about 2 hours just shootin the bull.

I'm headed to go pickup another cat load, this time just some small tractors. I gotta relay it to our Atlanta terminal then pray they find me something to the house soon.

Good to hear you made it, first one in the bag! Picking up a little wide load today myself.
