Tire size

    Time for new rear tires . Does it hurt to run 24.5 on rear and 22.5 on the front . Reason being I pull Rgn and need the extra height in the rear and just put the new steers on . Just trying to save a few dollars for now

    I doubt it will make much difference, I've seen it the other way using larger tires on the front to get more weight carrying capacity.

    OD is more important than rim size.

    The real issue comes when the steers wear you can not move them to the rear or the trailer.

    never use different tires on tandem drive axes.

    Thanks I will go to bigger on the front just put new tires on don't want to have to buy again and got a good deal on the 24.5 for the rear

    I wouldn't run a smaller diameter tire on the front but would run 11/22.5's in the steer and LP 22.5 or 24.5's in the rear.
