Hmmmm....wonder why Star Craighead (Detroit) used to give me $2.30 - $2.75 every time I pulled a load from him

We r quite happy at Mercer but then I don't have truck payments or trailer payments and I'm little on lazy side. I like going out for few weeks, then taking a few weeks of playing at home.
I average close to 2 mile but I cherry pick the freight.

I'm working on 3 weeks at Mercer and I love it. I average over 2 a mile so far. it isn't hard to find a load. In fact thus far I am always booked before I deliver. I don't know everything of course but I do know I haven't made the mistakes others have. I hope to keep it that way. Right now I will p/u tomorrow to take a load to Miami. That would be a mistake in my book. But I got a load out already. go figure.

At Mercer, everyone is pretty much equal. Don't have to be hooked up or know an agent. Not that some agents isn't better than others.

We ended the lease /purchase. You just return the trailer to the yard and sign some papers. Mercer kept the 500 $ + escrow for wear and tear as we expected but the lease is fair in my opinion, no hidden charges or surprises. It's a shame freight is so bad.
