Running over a cone is better than running over an old lady standing at the crosswalk.

I know you're probably embarrassed, however, I too would encourage you to go back and do it again, and yes, when approaching the right turn on the obstacle course, set up to the left as soon as you enter the course and wait as long as you can to start your turn. Get out and look if you need to, they don't care.

You're gonna look back on this event and say, "what the hell was I thinking?" ;-)

As you know, excrement occurs. Get your butt back into that bus next week, get up there and give that test hello. Don't psyche yourself out over it. JUST DO IT!:yes2557:

Absolutely. You'll pass with flying colors next time. I had peed before we left the motel for orientation so the rest of the guys went to take their drug test so I was the first to do the road test. It was just dawn with complete cloud cover so the light was unbelievably flat and hard to pick out my surroundings and I hadn't been in a truck since school and this truck was way different than anything I had driven. Really oddly challenging but I knew I had come too far to not meet the challenge. You will do the same!

Thanks I'm really thinking about going back. Gonna get a plane ticket though.
I might draw a diagram and ask how to tackle this thing.

Get on that bus and try again. Don't let the bus ride stop you .. one day you will laugh at that bus ride. Go Very slow on the course, stop, get out and look... take your time.

draw a diagram if you get a chance. I never had to do a skills test, I'm curious what they have you do. Is there a time limit on it ?

As the old saying goes, "Practice Makes Perfect". C'mon dude, you spend 8 years in the Marines, and you got through that. Now it is time to master another challenge. Just like Paloma and I have said before, relax, refer back to you training, take your time and get it right. Remember, this is not a speed contest, take your time, they probably want to see if you can handle the basics of driving that truck.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!

I will when I can. I'll probably YouTube it or something. But then again I don't wanna leak May's info. I may just post a video askin for advice on the course with no company name. No not really a time limit. I got out a bunch of times
