except that little detail of; i dont have sleep apnea... but yeah i'm sure you missed that. I was just saying what the requirements of needing the test.

Your post suggested he lie about his apnea. That's what I took from it. Dosent matter if he dosent meet the requirments of the test. There are boxes you have to check off when getting your phyiscal. One of those asks if you have been treated for any sleep disorders.To lie about anything in this industry is a very bad idea though

I agree to a certain degree... But, some diagnosis are not everlasting, yet can keep you from driving. such as BMI, sleep apnea, or even as my problem being prescribed a pill i havent needed in a few months, but if you go by exactly what is asked, noone would be driving.

and i will correct myself, some sleep apnea is caused by BMI. unlike the original poster....

Sleep apnea can not keep you from driving. Not being treated for sleep apnea can keep you from driving. Big difference. And one that may potentially kill somebody if you attempt to drive untreatedCol Thanks this.
