i envy you man. i am tired of pulling a van around all the time and would kill for a chance to drive dump truck local or get the practice hauling equipment. its better than local delivering to resteraunts or retail stores thats for sure
May Trucking is still an option BUT have an interview tomorrow!

Well I'll see how it goes. Just gotta put yourself out there. U have experience with what u do. Can't you switch to something else?
-
yah i have an application in with trans systems and twt out of spokane and they said to get the 6 month mark which is a month a way then apply again and there is a local company that pulls flats on the western 11 that also said 6 months so i got some options.
-
Right on that's great. Good luck with that
-
thanks man i appreciate it. good luck with that road test. i know its hard not to be nervous but just keep your cool and remember you know how to drive!!!! might be an easier test with a small construction compnay also instead of a mega carrier
-
Totally I agree thanks brotha!

also living down in so cal being local you will be a better driver than half the OTR guys. i honestly despise ahving to go down there lol. so many ridiculous drivers. but youll have a huge advantage if you drive dump truck cause youll know all the dump sites in so cal and all the little places.

Yea man, Cali drivers are terrible. Every single day someone in front of me doesn't use a blinker. It drives me crazy
-
Dude its terrible. I haul out of woodland just north of sacramento and i take alot of cambell soup loads down to paramount and i usually stop in frazier park the night before and come into town at like 3 am just to avoid the rush but then alwasy get stuck in mira loma at our terminal. The one good thing about so cal though is that there is always freight coming out of there
