I'm surprise more truckers don't complain to management, if that doesn't work we need to call corporate. We also should let our FM, DP, and CEO's of our companies to put pressure on these truck stops to clean up their act.
We can also call the local health boards, of that area. There's a lot that can be done.
Do we need to pass around some kind of petition? I would be willing to call corporate and lodge complaints on behalf of us drivers!Last edited: Oct 11, 2012

i must be a pig I dont see most of them as being bad. If they are i just tell someone they always send someone right in.
This is at the major fuel stops anyway. I dont expect them to be like homeShootThis, Cobra67y20, Shaggy and 4 others Thank this. -
Every major truck stop you go to has either a card to full out and drop in the mail or a number to call. Or it even says let the manager know.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
Agree with that statement. And the ones who do expect them to be like home should probably stay at home, there is a lot worse things on the road to worry about than restrooms.mitrucker, Cobra67y20 and TRKRSHONEY Thank this.

Most of the truck stop restrooms are alright. If you're a germaphobe like me, and you have to sit, wipe down the seat and then place toilet paper on the seat. It will at least put your mind at ease a little.

I am a man... the world is my toilet!!! Squirt the dirt!
Seriously, I agree with most posters, they really are pretty clean for the most part.
And the State run rest areas too. Always seems to be someone on duty.Shaggy Thanks this. -
I have never really run across any nasty restrooms or shower rooms.......but then I used to live in a tent and shower outside with a watering bucket.
gdyupgal Thanks this. -
Alcohol based hand sanitizer and tp to clean seat. Hand sanitizer after leaving also. Some are bad, and some are okay.
