As soon as I get my old companies stock options sold....I'm so out of this company, when I first started it was ok for 3-4 mos....in less than a year and a half working for them I now make LESS money....drive a truck ATM that leaks water and I have to restart my QCom 2-3 times daily???
Ill just get a decent used money maker...and go to the CHOICE program or Landstar....their was a time ( I've been told) back long ago..when Schneider had a 4,000 man waiting list to work here and drivers were respected..obviously those days are long gone.
The ambient sensor is very typical of quick money saving idea by some "wanna impress the execs" douchbag to improve the bottom line, who cares about the person IN the truck!
VERY short-sided thinking and logic....amazing....I can't even tell my friends about this place it's really to embarrassing.

well, I took a 34 hour restart this weekend, and while I was at the house, the little shop fairies at the OC in Obetz grabbed my truck and installed the Sensor in it, and didn't even bother to tell me. I went and asked why they had my truck because when I got back, it was moved and there was plastic on the seat. Lets just say the shop manager and I had a very long and loud conversation. You wanna do something to my truck, fine, BUT TELL ME SO I CALL LET YOU KNOW MY BUNK HEATER IS BROKE!!!
So now I have the sensor, no bunk heater, and sitting in Wisconsin. It is fine now, but I am thinking by 3am I am gonna be freezing my butt off.
And just to clear up confusion, once it hits the 4 minute mark, the only way to stop it from shutting off is to drive. If you are in traffic and can't move the truck, it will shut off. It doesn't matter how much your push the clutch or rev the engine, you can't stop it. -

i think it would be a good idea to cut the a/c or heat off in the office between 70-20 degrees to save on energy costs also. this sensor thing is a complete and total joke!
Female Driver and Kibblesnbits Thank this. -

The fridge in the break room should also be turned off at that time too, just like our coolers. -
Maybe they should have no heat in the office unless its below 20 as well. They can wear extra layers of clothing and keep several blankets around them as well.

just do not set the truck break set the trailer break and it will not shut off (IT WORKS)
