The 579 has plenty of head space. i'm 6'1 and have plenty of room then again i dont live in it i drive it for 8 hours and i'm done for the day but i think they are pretty roomy.

579? I didn't know May had them. I thought all the Petes were 587s or the old 387s.

Yeah, if I was doing day work, they'd be plenty big. I was fine for 6 months in the mid-roof Prostar, but having a Cascadia to live in for the 6-8 weeks I'm out makes a huge difference. Besides, if you're only driving 8 hours a day, what are you doing with a roomy sleeper truck?!

I look at the Volvo 780s and wonder how nice that palace would be... Might have to go check one out some day.

We just got the 579s for testing; saw one parked in Payette a couple months ago, brand new. Had to climb up for a look-see inside. Seems nice, but I'll stick with this Cascadia for a while. It has a good stereo system...

I'm glad you're having fun, that is the most important thing out here... If I wasn't having fun, I'd get off the road immediately!

Dude, I am spoiled ;-) averaging over 3k a week and home every weekend plus once during the week is great, especially when I compare it to the alternative. I would like to be home every night, however, I ain't working for $14.50 an hr hauling wood chips in crappy equipment.

Werner is testing one too, and TMC just ordered 1500 new ones. They are suppose to have the sleeper like the 379, but more aerodynamic from what I've read. I talked to the guy at Werner and he loves it simply because it isn't Wernerized and has the bigger Cummins engine in it. I like em.
