Go for the straights, 8 inch preferred. You won't regret it.

Any performance or mpg improvements with straights?

Yes and Yes

Just put some hi flow mufflers on it, you will get the same milage and performance as straights and you won't get ticketed for not having mufflers and it will be alot cheaper to put on hte hi-flows than buy 8 inch straights.
x#1 Thanks this. -
Walker Mega Flows are straight through.... The question you really need to ask is why do you want to lose your hearing ?

I enjoy the straight pipes.......when the key is off. Lol. But really, n14 + 7" pipes is music to my ears...too bad the jake is so obnoxious.

Im 51 yrs old and the straights are music to my ears specailly when I have the windows down. I also have a high power sound system in my truck, woofers, components, tweeters, amps. Now that I think about it, when Im at home and my wife asks me something, I ask her why she's yelling at me
