The 2% OOR is crap. During the morning rush out of Fontana adding 15 miles going through Tehachapi is far more economical time wise then sitting in traffic getting out of LA Metro...

They know it's faster and more economical for these little OOR trips we do. But, it fails on paper. So it's our fault, and our dime that gets taken. -
There must be a college course entitled "Theoretical Trucking 101". It's a complete how-to for the trucking company desk jockey to make it work on paper but not in the real world, at least for any benefit to the driver.
I understand that no one has ever failed that class..... -

Crete is kind of like this when it comes to fuel stops. They'll have you fuel 50 gallons somewhere to save three bucks. Abject silliness.
That's one area where SNI wins. They give you a list of stops along with the recommended ones for your trip (I think), and as long as you hit 70% you're free to focus on the other bonus criteria. -

It does not matter the weight, weather conditions, or the grade. A diesel engine WILL maintain the same MPG. Your foot is what regulates the MPG.

Yeeeeaaaaahhhhhh. The heaviest I pull is 15,000. Mostly around 10,000. Mpg 8.2 with the DD15. Diesnt matter my foot.
