Mine is a T700 too, also 2011.
I did a tandem load from Toronto to St John NB at 72,000 gross and did almost 7.5 mpg. Best truck at REM averages around 6.5... they have a Peterbilt 587 with an MX. It's not broken in yet but so far it's not very convincing, doesn't get better then 6 mpg... driver also complains about slow taking of and not much power...
I'll keep an eye on this threat, it's nice to compare...

Mine is a 2011 too, only 200,000 miles. I tried to trade it in because it was working so bad but didn't get anything more then 75,000 for it...
It's definitely not a truck that keeps value, especially with an ultrashift it's worth next to nothing... -
mine hasnt used a drop of oil yet
50000 miles on oil changes shocked me -
The longer the interval between oil changes the less time spent in the shop. Most European trucks have automatic (Groeneveld) grease system and don't need to be serviced for months. Just fill up the grease reservoir every now and the driveshaft U joints...
Have to say I'm very happy the mechanics at REM service my truck every two weeks, grease, check everything, tire pressures... there's no official pre-trips in europe, most drivers never see the bottom of the truck. there's even lots of companies that don't allow the drivers to adjust brakes or something... -
Truck still working well..!!
Average fuel mileage in August is 6.25 mpg (and that's 100,000 gross weight) -
Just a quick update on my five Paccar MX powered T-660's. These five trucks are performing wonderful and the cost per mile is by far the lowest I have ever seen in my fleet. The drivers are very happy with the performance and they aren't spending any time in the shop so far. They are all approaching the 140,000 mile mark and are exceeding my expectations. I am currently preparing another order to replace some of my fuel guzzling Cat powered T-2000's.

seems to me with 700 T700 adding 5 per week
and getting ready to start adding 680's by January we might last till spring

143000 on my 2011 t700 now
still zero oil consumption
this trip averaged 7.1 mpg 78500 gross
Fort Morgan Co to Upper Marlboro Md 1750 milesProudTrucker and daf105paccar Thank this. -
Here is the fuel cost per mile comparisons in my fleet. Cat powered T-2000's and Detroit powered T-600's with pre-emission engines are averaging 70.5 cpm. My Paccar Mx powered T-660's are averaging 64.5 cpm in fuel. These numbers are for miles driven from 1/1/2012 thru 9/30/2012. I failed to mention in my previous post that I did have a doser valve fail on one unit in Cleveland, OH and the unit was down for a day and repaired under warranty. The failure was related to the Cummins built after treatment system.
