I drive a 2012 t660 (manufactured 8/11 l) and I like it, the only problem is the way the sleeper is designed it steps down in a way that feels most unnatural to me, but it was easy to get used to.
psychocreep and EZ Money Thank this. -
It was a cost issue i guess...plus i think some of our drivers could not handle or ever have driven a long hood.Brownsfan16 Thanks this.

Thanks for that tip!
I need to get by a KW dealer and see if they will let me check a couple T660's out.
The boss is supposed to let me and another senior driver spec them out as far as transmission and options.
He asked if we wanted automatics and i just laughed and said i couldn't drive one of those. I was thinking Oh HeLL No! -
I liked the T2000 I drove at Stevens. But the T700 just looks like a truck version of the banjo kid from Deliverance. Inbred and wierd looking.

LOL!.....I agree! I just don't care for the looks of the 700.

What about the T680? I think those are going to be offered in various widths. I think the T800 looks good, easier to see over the hood than the W9. The 660 I drive now is identical to the 07 T600 I drove other than the hood. Interiors of the current 660, 800, 900 will be the same. Only the configuration of the T700 and 680 would be different.
slim shady and EZ Money Thank this. -
I might look into the 680 also.It looks like a cross between the 660 and 700...Thanks Grumman!

I wish Kenworth would start producing the K200 for the North American market. I ain't holding my breath waiting or anything. if you aren't familiar, they are a modern cabover they sell in Australia. They get stellar reviews there.
EZ Money Thanks this. -
I looked them up and found some pics of one.
Pretty cool ride and lots of room for cabover.
