In Gary finishing a reset. This was the first time since EVO 3 I actually had to do a reset because I was out of hours. Before starting the reset I did a couple of relays from here to Akron and back. Nothing too exciting to write about. Hopefully I will be getting out of here but my FM sent me a message telling me van freight in this area isn't too good right now so we will see how that goes.

You would think but when I look at Roehl's SMS report, I do every month, and see Drivers getting put OOS because half their trailer lights are out it makes me wonder if they will change their ways and actually check their equipment out. Then again I heard getting CSA points are going to come into play also so maybe Drivers will get with the program. Personally I have never had an issue with breakdown getting something fixed especially if you mention lights or tires.

It's easier to say they wouldn't help, than it is to call and find out. I look at Roehl's numbers frequently too, they're in our benchmarking group, so we compare ourselves to them....even though we're nothing alike. I mean not at all, we're like the reefer division (except when know how to run the reefer division)Ultra7 Thanks this.

Delivering to a Lowes store its a two stopper, insulation load some fell out as it always seem to do. Lady inside asked why is not on pallets, right like i loaded myself. Told her the shipper is the one that loads it, ha she told me next i load it put the insulation on pallets. Oh here we go around and around lady i deliver whats loaded if you want pallets call the shipper and pay for them. Some lazy ### people cause they are going to have to pull peace by peace off awww. Oh well ask me why i loaded it that way i almost laughed in her face!

Thing is..motor mounts aren't something you would check.....they hardly ever break...and are easily overlooked.....plus cracked mounts are really hard to spot...

Main reason I left Roehl. To many weeks with 7 days out and no day more than 350 miles. I used to do 3 weeks and home time. And then had to love dropping Saturday am and wondering if you would see anything decent until Monday. But then again I am thinking of coming back to Roehl
-
Yea well I'm hoping its just cuz I'm a new driver an I'm sure it is well see
-
That was one of the reasons I left....I now get percentage so it doesn't matter how many miles its how well the load pays.......My paychecks are bigger and the stress is less...also we can tell dispatch NO!! if I don't want to go somewhere I don't really have too...I generally take what I can get cause it makes me money in the end....this week I have been on nothing but shorthauls cause I am going on vacation next week.....and I am cleaning up pretty good...this week I have averaged 45-50 cpm....so I am makin good money...we don't hardly ever sit here either...we will have loads lined up for us most of the time before we are MT....
-
Yea that's good where'd you go to? I don't mind at first and they've had a load right before I'm empty so I can't complain just want more miles
-
Come work for me, you can't tell us NO, well depends on who your dispatcher is. Living in IA would be a good fit, we'd even keep your regional if you wanted. Percentage and what not, home probably every weekend...hmm, hmm, you know you want to. Don't even kid yourself
Just messin with ya, glad things are working out for you (I'm just being nice because I still want my swag)
