Been awhile since I posted in here, being out with the trainer in his truck didn't really allow me to set up my laptop, just no room lol.

But I tested out on Wednesday in Richfield than headed same day to BRF to pick up my truck. Got all my stuff out of the trainers truck and into mine Wednesday night. Thursday morning I was getting my inverter installed when in the process they found some issues with the truck they issued me and where gonna have to send it to KW for awhile, so they put me in another one, so I wait to get the inverter installed in that one, when the mechanic comes up and tells me this one will need to go to cummings lol ..... good thing I was scheduled for hometime so I was able to get a load back to Richfield, where they will have the next 5 days to get it done. Got myself a t2000. Got some miles on her but in good shape. It's all good I imagine having some high miles I won't be too far off a new or newer truck next year when they start getting more in, as long as I keep my nose clean that is lol.

Hoping to post in here a lot more now that I am done training and can have my stuff set up and all. All I can say is the over the road training part is by far the hardest in this whole gig. Trainer was a great guy and I learned a lot from him, it's just trying at times because it's such a small space where you never really get away from em.

 

Oh I heard some news last week I'd thought I'd share here as well. I heard this from someone who is not a driver so I assume it's not a rumor. He was saying the land has been or is being finalized in Texas for a terminal and school down there. Thought that was interesting. In 2 months I haven't been to Texas, do we have that much freight going in and out of there?

 

I heard that about six months ago too. We have a lot of regional stuff in tx.

 

Ahhh this person had told me the time frame for the school to be up and running there is after the holidays in Jan. Guess we will see lol

 

well finally on home time been out for 5 weeks but not complaining actually would,nt have it any other way i just prefer to stay out 4-6 weeks at a time

 

Last time i was out there had to run a couple of those 57 foot trailers from the brewery to waco
