Considering how the request went over (turd in the punchbowl), don't think combat pay would be granted either. I would rather drive in Jersey than NY (lextec drives all of that when needed as I have enough moments I need some calming just sitting in the passenger seat), but I would rather deal with the people in NY. We get NY pay. Why not NJ pay? Oh, that's right, those skinny bridges all over.

    interesting ride from phoenix.

just north of the city. crap started flying from the truck. pulled over twice before finally realizing blown tire on the trailer.
ended up blowing both tires on same axle trying to head back to city. had to place road call.

drove into utah and back on freeway. crap flying from truck again. it was dark and hard to find anything out with a little flashlight.
got close to civilization adn something flew off and truck wobbling now. still couldn't see anything. got into salt lake and something broke free. truck quit wobbling.

camped at rest area. made delivery and back to yard. daylight now. and saw no brake drum. that explains the flying crap from truck.

truck getting a complete break overhaul on back axle. nothing is any good. along with new bracket for air bag.

That reminds me of the "Twilight Zone" episode with the gremlin on the wing of the aircraft. Only one passenger could see him ripping the engine apart. He goes bizerk, and forces the flight crew to eventually land safely. Later the ground crew discovers that there was something gravely wrong with the engine that could have caused a crash. Apparently, you had a Gremlin too.

Jess, hubby is asking what good was it to replace it then? In ours, the blend door (or whatever) is non functional. Close the watercock and we get a/c and no hot water. Open, hot air and hot water. Or vice versa. I don't care which way I just know its one or the other

We had NO heat in the Truck at all!!!! So having heat in the sleeper is a bonus:yes2557: guess we will have to take it to Freightliner and let them have a look at it!

40 degrees in Misery isn't exactly southern and to me its cold after spending the week in Palm Springs CA!
