Pick up a load tonight to head in that direction ... broke down yesterday, killed my schedule, been splitting shifts since then to keep up with my delivery/pickup times.

 

And you are where now??????...there is freight here...had to go thru like 6 pp..before i got one that was good....lots of mt miles....short runs...to much time on runs...yada,yada,yada....but there is freight up here....

 

Where I am is not as important as where I'm going ... but Memphis, going to MN just over the border from IA ...

 

Huntsville, TX heading to Hurricane by way of Baytown. Could not believe the routing that the dispatch on the GPS gave. Almost 300 miles oor. Baytown to PHX then up to Vegas then to Hurricane. Got on 610 to 45 and then it re-routed me, took almost 200 miles off. Up to FT. Worth then over to Amarillo to Flaggstaff. Drop Monday around noon. The pplan said 1400 on Sunday. Like that was really going to happen.

 

Bosie, ID... Not sure if I have enough hrs to make Sumner. Have exactly 10 hrs after fuel and pretrip that's 9.5 for driving... I may make it. Maybe not.

Here in Armadillo. This morning started my GPS, and it went and changed my routing on me. Same miles, just a different way. Now has me going up I-25 and then through the hills and mountains. Going to be a very long 400 miles along US-550 and US-64 and 160 and 89.

Forgot to mention, Independents and their fuel prices. Comming up US-287 in TX, saw fuel, $3.84/gal, so hurried and looked at the prices for the Loves and Pilot in the area and up here in Armadillo, and saved .36/gal. $4.15/gal here. $3.99 in Wichita falls, TX at the Loves and Peelot
