I don't understand why people want to troll us...funny part is it was hiis first post.....LOL......

I am on a load out of waterloo for Omaha...gonna drop tomorrow and grab an empty and head to sheldon....they might find something local for me to do til monday afternoon anyway...then its off to Florida for the big move to hospers....I expect to be back by the weekend...so I should be able to grab a load out for the weekend so all is not lost LOL......

these short runs are not too terrible...the lead times have been good so I don't feel rushed at all...and they all have been paying good so far... in the 50-60cpm ranges...so I should clean up reallllly good this week.....might try to do more weeks of short haul.......plus when I get back I think I will try to run back into new england again...I have had my break from there...its time to cash in on the loads going east to there...(as long as I stay out of connecticut....NYC, or Boston...ugggggg)...

I haven't had to run illegal yet here, true i may get close to the edge on hours, but not illegal, besides, i don't let people coerces or threaten me into running illegal , lest they found out how sorry they will be if they do try it, lol

at home....did some laundry....played some skyrim (just downloaded it) also got some dishes, silverware, and some pots and pans.....I got nothing to do til I fly out...sooooo yeah I have an empty house...and my truck is parked out front...(pretty sure the neighbors aren't liking it)

 

I'm probably the only one on here from the pre elog days and it's still balls to the wall running but now I'm on the right side of things! Managed to blast out 4,100 miles this week and make it back to Sheldon with 10 minutes to spare on my 70 so it looks like I'll be at my weekend retreat until Tuesday morning. Ended up loading down in Tar Heel,NC Friday night to bring back to Curly's in Sioux City & it still took those goobers 3 hours to load 3 #### pallets at Smithfield. I wasn't really complaining about 2 hours since I needed that after my 8 in Newport News, but 3 is a little ridiculous. On my way back Blue Belle decided to be a high maintenance b**ch and dump an injector spill valve as I was coming up Flat Top so even with 3,380 pounds out back she was going up hills like she had 44 on her. I called and talked to Dean as a formality knowing full well what the response would be, and of course he said just bring it back to the yard. Hopefully it's just something they can fix in the shop and not go up to Cummins. If so, maybe I can lay on the charm thick and lay claim to the new Volvo that's sitting in the shop. Normally I bring out my big 'ol 44oz. glass of Haterade when I'm talking about Volvo's, but I'm getting to the point where the seats in the Kenworth are killing my back and #####. Are any of you guys going to be in the morning Winter Safety Meeting on Monday?

 

Sitting at mm 49 on I-80 eastbound in Ohio with a blown trailer tire and broken auto inflate line. Four hours and counting waiting on FleetNets vendor. Walmart load is gonna be late...joy...

 

Finally got loaded up saturday morning in williamsburg after getting lost twice thanks to c.h. robyoublind's wonderful directions, thank god for the google maps droid app. Since i had a ####load of time on the load, i got as far as the gordonville exit, scaled the load and decided to get some more sleep since that 8 hour sleeper split didn't do much for my 14, and the fact that i'm not a good day sleeper. Managed to get just under 2 hours sleep before somebody in virginia decided to ruin it with "we need you to do something for us!', stuck me on a 8 am sioux city delivery for monday, which would've worked except thanks to the 14 hour clock and the sleeper break, i wouldn't be able to leave waynesboro until 3 pm, which put a damper on making it here by 8 am, to which cory got p.o'd and told me just get it here by noon. I went into the office there to explain further about my 14 hour dilemma, but cory had already fled, so a couple of people are pretty much back on my #### list. Anyhow, got here before noon, in the dock, but waiting for news on what they will to for getting this cold water leak fixed since the dunces at eddie's never bothered fixing it, and never told me, and naturally, doug and andy are blaming me for it....not a good start to the week since i'm ready to strangle someone.:smt093:smt021

 

Finally getting this load of lettuce off here in Chariton,IA,hoping to get up to Sheldon need chains and got battery issues have had to jump start twice in the last few days. Truck it safe out there boys.
