hi there, Just joined the forum and thanks for taking me in. I am 57, passed my LGV (C) category in 2000, since passing my test I have never driven a lorry as I couldn't find any companies apart from agencies to take me on, so returned to LGV technician as trained since 21. I am now working for the MOD as a general mechanic and want to use my LGV licence, the problem is that I need to take a medical to re-activate my licence, I havnt had a medical since 2000, is it just a matter of a medical, or has my licence expired and I need to re-take the test. Thanks in anticipation.
