What is primes policy for pets? I was under the impression it's only for lease drivers. But a lease driver just told me its both just a $500 deposit. And he said their only policy is u can only have one other beating heart in the truck with you, being a person or pet.

Primes pet policy is you pay the 300 up front, then pay the rest in payments til its paid for.... Least it was when I got my pet on the truck

You need to be more specific, If you are starting as a student, do not expect to get home for 6 to 8 weeks. All the others are the same, You get one day home for every seven days out. Most drivers run four weeks at a time, that is the F/M like to see as a minimum time out. Lease folks go home whenever they want. It's their truck payment.

While out, if you get a decent Fleet manager, and most are. You should average 2500 miles per week as a company driver. As a solo with a lightweight that translates to about 800.00 clear. Most weeks I average 2900 to 3100, You have to prove yourself to your fleet manager that you will get the job done, IE on time, safe, courteous etc.
