I think by and large that what RM does with truckstops and other truck specific POI is the best way to do it. One can both rate and add personal notes when the POI is displayed. I suppose one could find out how many parking slots a given truckstop has and add the information as a personal note. In my case, I've noted which Pilots and Loves have Subway restraunts that still serve pastrami.

Pleased with the new 720. After initial shake down in the settings, warnings, etc., did a nice job. Fast recycling when I decide to route differently then proposed route.
Only one hiccup and this one belongs to the database and not the unit. Seems allergic to Autoroute 40 (west of Montreal going east) in Quebec from the 540/20/30 split through the Autoroute 15 in Montreal based on "Fastest". Desperately wanted to route through A-20, back up A-13 then to A-40 when A-40 is a straight through (east to west). Unit was pulling handstands with every exit available. This is not the first time that the database (same for the 510) seems to be wonky in this area. Needs attention since these roads are equivalent to Interstates with no truck restrictions. Sent another "Tell Rand" maybe this time someone will look into this.
BTW new A-30 from Les Cedres, QC through to Candiac, QC will be opened on December 12th. This'll need to be updated in the maps as it is a major route. -

I bought my 720 in July I think and I seem to remember registering for the LTM's while unit was online and updating. Does that sound right? I want to be sure I am registered before the window closes. How would I check and be sure? I am not sure if I could find my receipt since I just moved to a new truck and now I can't find anything. LOL.

HOWEVER, to my knowledge you should have filled out and sent in the LTM coupon that came with the unit to ensure LTM registration on that unit. If wherever you bought it did not inform you of this, or if you did not receive the coupon with your unit, you should take care of that right away. It can be printed from THIS link.SavageSam Thanks this. -
I have posted several times the Link as Dieselboss did also in his post.
Being retired military I cannot stress enough about keeping copies of anything you send in.
Even though it is a simple form, Make a copy of it, Post on it the date you are mailing it in, after 6-8 weeks you should get an E-Mail from Rand.
On the backside, those who bought a qualifing 510/720 Rand will be checking against the registered users to see if anyone "forgot" or did not know to send in the registration form.

Well, it looks I won't be posting here for the forseable future. Screen whited out- colored lines ran vertically down the screen and now- nothing. Did not last as long as my 710. Goodbye Mark.
