Go to a truck dealer, look at the selection. Lots of differing ideas.

Well if you want to go right to town how about some controls in the arm rest. Headlight dimmer, volume for the stereo, maybe one for the road lamps, a coffee cup holder.
-
A high back seat, those low ones kill my back

Thanks guys, some good ideas here. I'll see what I can come up with.
Maybe a built in microphone too

So do you bolt them to the existing seats suspension or just bolt them to the floor? A picture would be nice.
-
I bolted mine right to the floor. In the van they basically do it the same way. I will post a picture of pedestal on facebook. Names Edward J Daily. Stedman NC.

I often thought of doing that or maybe a seat out of a Escalade. Heat, A/C, 8 way power seats, and comfy padding. If grandma can have comfort, I want it too.
-
My brother in law bolted his to original seat chassis to keep the air will add pics when i get home

As for the cushions, an open cell memory foam (Thick) with the gel top for temperature control underneath the leather would make it a real keeper.
