Is that with the 5th wheel slid all the way back????
And why a red led sled??? I'm surprised you didn't try out one of the new RGN's for a few weeks.
Where is everyone?

The better half and I are sitting in Trexlertown, PA. We've been in the Allentown area since Monday; nothing worth taking or the decent loads are gone within minutes.
The three or four direct shippers I have in this area aren't moving anything so far this week. Flatbed freight just downright sucks around here right now.
Was hoping to come out this week and get moving and make some $$$, but I feel like I can't get it into gear...SHC Thanks this. -
I feel your pain. Every $3 mile load I called on in a 150 mile radius of Altoona was gobbled up or going to ND/FL. I finally said screw it and DH 350 miles back to IN where I got a load paying more than the PA loads and less miles.MackDaddyMark and volvodriver01 Thank this.

Yeah all the way back. This is all Brenda had right now. Trailers are slim pickings. I weighed earlier and am 34200 with a quarter tank. I can deal with that as I never hauled more than 45 with my old trailer.SHC Thanks this.

Wish I could have grabbed one of those $3/mile FL loads! We just moved from Nazareth, PA here in the Allentown area to the Winterhaven/Lakeland area of Florida.
Thanks to the 'economic recovery' we are currently seeing in the country, we have combined households with the in-laws...we simply can't afford the northeast anymore...and I won't miss the weather, either.
I think we may have to head west to get something that pays decent going in a more southerly direction. Time to make something happen tomorrow...I refuse to let the weekend sneak up on us and not get the wheels in motion. We won't be sitting here for the weekend, that's for sure.SHC and MackDaddyMark Thank this. -
Missouri on 34 restart. Leaving either tomorrow or Sat. Didn't see any trailers on the lot so might be Sat.....spending time w/my daughter is the best part
Mommas_money_maker, Everett and SHC Thank this. -
The local steel mill that i run out is down till the first of the year, Screw this nonsense. Back to cdl class b roll off dumpster. I've lost close to 30k in the last 6 months doing flatbed local work. Can't deal with crap any more. Frustrated and beyond my patience filing for unemployment for the weeks i'm off.
fawk this crap. go back where the stable money is. Can't outsource material going to the landfill. This year is a odd one. I can't win. maybe I should throw in the towel and collect a measely $580 a week through un employment...
nothing makes sense. ohwell -
Yep...rates up here in the northeast sure do Suck...

Yeah, there was one out of Bedford, PA (JLG manlift) going to Miami for $5200 but it was gone before I could dial the #.MackDaddyMark Thanks this.
